Wedding Vendors are unfortunately not made equal! As newly weds ourselves we know the difficulties you face in finding the perfect wedding vendor. There are so many wedding vendors in London and so it can be difficult to know where to begin.

When wedding planning you want the best for your day, and need to ensure that you stay within your budget, feel a connection with the wedding vendor and love their work…Is that too much to ask? Definitely not!

Wedding Vendors should

• Listen to what it is you want and advise from their expertise if this is possible or not
• Be able to show you example of their work and provide testimonials from previous clients
• Provide good customer service, you dont want a wedding vendor who is rude, doesnt respond to your emails and never answers their phone
• Be able to work well with your other wedding vendors. You should be looking out for a vendor who is personable and easy to get along with to ensure that you don’t end up with a situation where your makeup artist is fighting with your hair stylist!

We think that the above are essentials in selecting a wedding vendor. We sueggest the following to test the above:

How to qualify a potential wedding vendor:

• Meet with the wedding vendor in person – This is essenial, not only does it give you the opportunity to get a feel for their personality & vibe you get to see their product in person
• Contact the wedding vendor and notice how quickly they respond – Do they respond promptly, are they able to deal with your query, do they come across as friendly and someone you would want to work with?
• Ask them about how they like to work with other vendors. You will get a feel for their style and behaviour from what they say. Comments like “I insist on working in my own space on the day with no other distractions” may not work so well for a busy bridal prep morning.
