About Me

Hello my name is Raymond (aka A-Picture or A-Pic) and I own my very own time machine!

Each picture I take has the power to instantly transport you to any time or place in an instant. A picture is so much more than just an image on a screen or on photo paper; it’s a moment in your life that you physically can never get back. That’s what makes my job so special; I am here to catch all those special moments, on the biggest day of your life. I help to keep your experience of the day alive, with no loss of detail over the passage of time. Ultimately I give you your very own time machine, which you will want to hop into on a regular basis.

Officially my photography journey started 3 years ago on a warm summers evening in the garden with my then fiancée, we were discussing our purpose for being here; very philosophical I know, when it came to me, my purpose was to use my passion for photography to preserve memories, feelings and experiences, to allow people to look back on them in times of need, distress, or grief and be instantly reminded of a happier time – My purpose was to be the memory catcher who happens to have a time machine!

My fiancée Chelena recently became my wife and we have two beautiful children Rai and Zach, whom I constantly photograph! My family means everything to me, and they have helped me to develop my photography skills, but most importantly they remind me how special those transient moments really are. The day I stop smiling when I see my pictures of them, will be the day I put my camera down!

I have done many different types of photography but nothing comes close to wedding photography, it is a joy and a privilege to be a small part of one of the most special days in a couple’s life. Pictures are memories in the palm of your hands and I fell elated to have the power to give your memories eternal life for generations to come.

Each wedding or portrait I shoot I set out to capture the essence of that day, in the form of a collection of moments, I don’t believe in too much posing, life and moments never stand still so why should you? My aim is for you to enjoy your day without me buzzing around asking you to move here and there, I enjoy catching those special glimpses you thought no one saw or that embrace of old friends reuniting, or the child having a boogie on the dance floor, completely enjoying the moment.

I hope my journey with you will be an amazing one, that will never end, I guarantee that each time you look back on the moments I have captured, you will have a smile on your face as you are transported back in time.

Nicole & Chris are dream clients, they are super easy to get on with and have a real appreciation for the work we do, which makes us want to do & give more!

We met up on Father’s Day in sunny central London. We sat and discussed their progress with their wedding plans over lattes and then proceeded to work on their wedding photography timeline planning. We love guiding our clients and sharing our knowledge and experience to ensure that their day goes smoothly. There was lots of giggling and excitement as we worked out the logistics of it all and all I will say is if we get an image of Chris running for the bus in his wedding suit I am guaranteed to go viral lol.

The couple opted for the back drop of the city as they wanted to get variety in the images we provide to them, given that their wedding pictures will have lots of greenery this was a perfect decision.

Nicole went for a chic look with a black and white patterned dress. Her locs were fabulously styled to perfection. The colour of her hair worked perfectly in the sun light and added a flash of colour to the dull backdrop of St Paul’s Cathedral.

Chris went for a smart preppy look, sporting a crisp white shirt under a knitted grey slip over tank top. This couple clearly considered their outfits as they complimented each other perfectly; the pattern on Chris’s tie even had a similar shade to Nicole’s hair colour – Love it!

The weather was very kind to us and allowed us to comfortably get some great images. Weather in London can be very changeable so we are always happy when we can have a shoot and not be impeded by the weather.

This couple are very much in love we thought it was super sweet how Nicole took time out to moisturise her hubby to be & make sure that he was looking fab for the images. We observed Chris being really considerate and helping Nicole up steps in her heels – We love it when couples are openly caring toward one another – that love and caring is really picked up through the camera.

The couple changed into smart casual outfits and we headed for a new location. London offers so many interesting spots to take photos. We absolutely love photographing in central London and jump at every opportunity.

Nicole & Chris will become Mr & Mrs in August and we are as excited as the happy couple. We have connected with this them and are really excited to be a part of making their day special! We always aim to exceed expectations with the images we provide – We hope that this couple will be another set of happy customers!
