Tip 7 for fitting into your wedding dress

Tip 7 of 10 – Eat Breakfast!

In our busy little lives and our busy little minds we tell ourselves we don’t have time for breakfast.

Skipping brekkie can actually cause you to gain weight as you veer towards fatty, unhealthy food choices to overcompensate for missing breakfast.

A busy wedding planning bride really shouldn’t miss breakfast, especially as you near to your big day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a substantial breakfast will keep you full for longer and will give you time to consciously make better choices for lunch and then dinner.

Your body needs sustenance so set your alarm to go off 15 minutes earlier in the morning to ensure you have time to break your fast before you run out of the door.

Tip 6 of 10 – Get in some accidental exercise

There are opportunities all around us to exercise.

I like to think of it as accidental exercise, you know the type of exercise where you don’t actively think “It’s time to exercise”, or you don’t need to get your sweat bands and spandex on – Well you could if you choose!

In any case these suggestions below are small things we can all do to fit in more exercise into our already choc-a-blocked diaries: A-Picture

Tip 5 for fitting into your wedding dress

A-Picture Photography Wedding Dress Tip 5 – The 5 Ps

“Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance”

Yea I said it! Get prepared when it comes to your meal planning.

We have all been there, we haven’t prepared anything to eat, time is against us, our stomachs are growling so what do we do? We grab the wrong foods and undermine all of the hard work we have invested thus far.

Set time aside to think about what you want to nourish your body with before the start of the week.

Write out your shopping list, hit the supermarket or do it online to be even more efficient and prepare as much in advance as possible, don’t leave it until your ravenous to discover that your fridge is bare or you have to start cooking from scratch.

I hope you found this helpful – Share with a friend planning a wedding and help her to feel fab in her dress!

Tip 4 of 10 – Spice it up

Like most things in life variety is important, who wants the same ol’ same ol’ day in day out? Not me!

It is crucial to challenge your body; you miss out on that opportunity if you stick to the same routines, your body will adapt to the intensity and routine and in time the work you are doing will become less effective as you stay stagnant in the training plateau.

Be sure to have variety and new challenges in your workout to keep you challenged both mentally and physically.

Swing back tomorrow for a meal planning tip.

Tip 3 for fitting into your wedding dress

London Photographer Wedding Dress Ok so everyone has pledged to support you in your quest and you have committed to your plan. You are ready to kick off your plan of attack. But we want to make sure you get the most from the available time. Read on for the third tip in the series to ensure you are maximising your time.

Tip 3 of 10 – It’s not about the time you have, it’s what you do with it! IMG_9285

You absolutely need to get the most out of the time you have available. If you only have 20 minutes to spare you need to roll with that and make it work!

Look at it this way 20 minutes a day three times a week works out to just over 3000 minutes/50 hours of exercise per year which is not to be sniffed at and is 100 times better than nothing!

Just keep that dress in the centre of your mind and that should spur you on!

Ok so in these 20 minutes you will need to put in the work, I don’t suggest that your prance around for that time if you want to see any improvements. I am talking regular short bursts of high energy, snappy, high octane activity, think skipping, running, aerobics, Spin, Step etc.

Exercising in this manner gets your body used to your frequent energy demands and with time your body will respond by increasing the efficiency of your lungs and heart, toning muscles and burning body fat.

Be sure to warm up and cool down, but in-between, you need to go hard! Level 8 or 9 out of 10 in order to make best use of your time & see results.
