Father’s day often passes by without the fanfare and celebration of Mothers day, we often slip under the radar and just have a normal day. Well I think that needs to change, over the years the role of dad has changed from the final stop for discipline, owner of the best sit in the front room and official driver!! Now more than ever we have been made to step up and be so much more, and while we can’t be mum more of us are right up there being involved with nappies changes, bumps and scrapes, hugs and kisses and my personal favourite, telling and young ones that we love them. While we should do this every day, this fathers day stop and take a moment to think and enjoy being a father, and mothers and children remember to give dad a hug to remind him that you love him!!
