Woodford London | Fitz’s 40 Birthday Party

Now for the last few months I have been focusing on building my wedding portfolio, and told myself I need to start moving away from nightclub type events and in the main I have really not missed it, the whole “no pictures please” and “where are these going to be?” type comments, but I must admit I love a good party atmosphere with good people. So I really couldn’t resist when asked me to photograph a 40th birthday party, and boy it didn’t disappoint happy smiling people with a real good vibe, plus a birthday boy would was more than happy to be snapped .

With the help of Fitz’s friends and family, Fitz’s had a 40th birthday party to remember, I really had so much fun photographing this event. I just hope that they enjoy’s looking back at the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!!!

London | Heena & Beejal’s Engagment Part

When being booked to photograph my first Asian engagement party, I was relived when they said it was only a “small” event!!! As this was my first time photographing an Asian wedding I thought “Ok this should be a nice one to cut my teeth on”

All I can say is WOW! if that’s a small event I need to see a big one! There were so many beautifully dressed relatives and friends, in traditional Asian fabrics, all there to share in the official announcement of Heena and Beejal’s engagement.  I was made to feel so welcome, it really was a pleasure to capture it on camera.  After the event I was absolutely shattered but happy that I was a part of the day.

Trent Park, London | Mary & Daniel’s Engagement Shoot

As a photographer it is always nice when you are recommended.  A very good friend of mine kindly passed my details on to   his cousin; Mary. After an informal consultation in a London cafe Mary and her fiancé Daniel granted me the privilege of photographing their special day.

Mary and Daniel were so far the easiest couple to work with, they were so natural in front of the camera, and needed little to no direction.  It is always nice to work with couples who are not afraid to show their love for one another and are not put off by a camera trained upon them.

The engagement shoot took place in the picturesque Trent Park, in Cockfosters, London.  Mary & Daniel were very at ease with nature and were happy to lay, walk, roll & sit in the tall grass, we had such a fun time and got some great pics – Take a look I’m sure you will agree.

Hampton Court Gardens | Sushil & Mines Engagement Shoot

My first engagement shoot of the summer was a storming success, on a warm Sunday morning in Hampton Court gardens; London, I spent a funfilled few hours with Sushil and Minesh. They had me doing way too much laughing, but it was such a fun filled morning and the pictures turned out great.

So let the good times roll, I’m really looking forward to their wedding day, I can’t wait to photograph all of the festivities and traditions – I will need to make sure I get lots of sleep though as I am shooting 3 days of their wedding marathon!

Hampton Gardens

Finally the sun made a prolonged appearance this Saturday, so we packed up and drove over to Hampton Gardens for some long overdue fun in the sun!!!!
