Wedding Tip Wednesday: Get your wedding planning game organised

Planning a wedding can become a full time job! You really do need to keep on top of things. This will reduce your stress levels, stop any unnecessary chaos and avoid the likelihood of you becoming a bridezilla!

We suggest you make a list of all the jobs to be done and tick them off as you go. It’s a good idea to make a wedding calendar – You can pick a cheap diary from the pound shop – use it to record the dates of meetings with your wedding vendors, when deposits & final payments are due etc. You don’t want to find out a month before your big day that your Wedding Photographer has been booked by some one else because you forgot to pay your balance!

To be fair any good vendor would contact you once your payment was late and advise you that as your contract had been broken they are at liberty to accept alternative booking – Hopefully at this point you can come to an arrangement – But lets try not to get into this situation in the first place #JustSaying

If you prefer to utilise a bit of tech there are a plethora of apps which can help you in your quest to stay on top of your wedding planning game, there are many free apps on the market which allow you to manage the tasks, vendors and lengthy to-do lists associated with planning your wedding.

When I was planning my wedding I had white board, calendars, post its – The lot! It really made all the difference as nothing was forgotten or overlooked – I hope that this post give you a bit of a nudge to get organised with planning the biggest celebration of your life, let’s not leave anything to chance.
